Storage, delivery or airline bag drop?
| Your situation | Check before choosing |
|---|---|
| Returning to the same place | Use a locker or staffed storage. Include the return journey and collection hours. |
| Continuing without your bags | For delivery, confirm both counters, arrival time and the acceptance deadline first. |
| Checking bags for a flight | City check-in is different from ordinary delivery. Use the helper to check airline, flight and terminal eligibility. |

Steps
- 01
At the City Airport Terminal on B2 of Seoul Station, scan the AREX Express ticket QR code at the gate.
- 02
Ask at the airline counter whether check-in and baggage drop are available for your flight.
- 03
Complete immigration, then take the AREX Express to Incheon Airport.
- 04
At the airport, follow the dedicated City Airport Terminal departure-lane signs on the third floor.
- 05
Seoul Station B2 airline check-in operates 05:20–19:00, with acceptance closing at 18:50. You must also meet T1’s 3-hour or T2’s 3-hour-20-minute predeparture cutoff; use the earlier deadline. Find the operating carrier and route from your booking in the official eligible-flight table. If absent or too late, take your bags to airport check-in.
Before you start
- Confirm your same-day international flight from Incheon Airport and your AREX Express ticket.
- Check the official list to see whether your airline and flight are eligible at Seoul Station.
- Plan for the published check-in cutoff: 3 hours before Terminal 1 or 3 hours 20 minutes before Terminal 2 departure.
Apply this to your actual journey
- Before hotel check-in, distinguish storage collected at the same place from delivery collected elsewhere. Delivery intake and collection windows differ from storage hours. Confirm when your bag can reach the hotel before choosing.
- Seoul Station airline check-in on departure day is not ordinary bag storage. Add the return to storage, collection, airport journey and airline deadline margin separately from sightseeing time.

Easy points to confuse
- Assuming an All-Stop train ticket qualifies
- Ignoring airline, route, and Terminal 1 or 2 cutoffs
- Bringing an oversized bag above the published 150 cm or 50 kg limit
Practical example
Example: a 17:00 Terminal 2 departure must be checked in at Seoul Station before 13:40. If the flight is ineligible or the cutoff has passed, check in at the airport; do not plan the journey around Seoul Station baggage drop.
